Week of December 8-12

 This week in Kindergarten....

What a busy week in Kindergarten! We started the week learning about the letter "C." Ask me what sound a C makes. We practiced printing the letter C in our fine motor journals and then drew a candy cane with a pattern to go with it. We also learned how to make a candy cane out of a paper square and smelly markers.

We continued our learning about patterns by reading some pattern stories, going for a pattern hunt in the school, as well as making paper pattern chains we hung in the classroom.

Next we read two different versions of the story The Gingerbread Man. We did a sequencing activity in our visual journal, as well as a drawing activity about our favourite parts. Ask me what my favourite part of the story was.
