This week in Kindergarten...
We are collecting toilet paper rolls for a project we are going to do this coming Friday. Please bring in any clean toilet paper rolls to school. Thank-you!
This week in Kindergarten, we learned about the letter "O." We practiced making the letter o in our fine motor journals. We also drew a picture of something that begins with the letter o and labelled it.
In math, we worked on recognizing shapes by reading the story The Shape of Things, going for shape hunts in the classroom, as well as creating animals from pattern block shapes.
We then made shape pizzas and identified what shapes we put on our pizzas, as well as writing the number of each shape we used.
