This week in Kindergarten...
This week we said "See you later" to Miss V, our student teacher. She will be returning to us once again in March. We will all miss her dearly and will be so excited to have her back once again.
This week learned about the number 5. We practiced writing it on whiteboards and then represented the number 5 in different ways in our math journals. We also learned about the letters "S" and "I". We practiced writing them on whiteboards, as well as our fine motor journals. We wrote as many as we could and circled our very favourite one.
We also talked about our favourite things to do in the snow and drew a picture in our visual journal. Ask me what my favourite thing to do in the snow is!
We also created beautiful snowflakes using painters tape to make the snowflake and then used water colour paint to paint over top. After the paint dried, we peeled off the tape to see our beautiful snowflakes!
TUESDAY is our Library day. Please don't forget your book(s) at home! This will be our last Library day until January.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 8: Picture Retake Day
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11: Red and Green Day! Wear red and green to school.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12: PM Kindergarten Day
