This week in Kindergarten....
We started the week by learning about the letter "G' and the sound it makes. We practiced printing the both upper and lower case G's on the whiteboard. Then we sorted pictures into words that begin with G and ones that do not.
Keeping with our letter G theme, we learned about groundhogs and read a story about Groundhog Day. We also made a groundhog craft that we took home.
Next we learned about the number 9. We represented 9 in a variety of ways.
We also practiced our story comprehension by reading the story The Missing Mitten Mystery and drew pictures for the beginning and ending of the story. We also began labelling our pictures using the letter sounds we know. Ask me what happened in our story this week.
